Mum is here for Christmas. We have been to the market, have The Architect over for breakfast and have cracked the 2cm think ice on the pond so the fish can breathe.

Tomorrow Mum and I will make the pudding.

BBC Radio 4 said that if this sort of thing continues, the weather may be come “sultry”.

I am just pleased that all this sun is ripening up our strawberry patch.

Nurburgring Taxi

I wish I’d been there to see this Taxi drive the Nurburgring.

Have been very busy trying to make some money after losing my job last year.

It was a fascinating year, including a lovely sojurn as a teaching assisant at Dairy Meadow Primary School in Southall, notable for it’s absence of either dairy or meadow, and presence of some great teachers and a lovely group of kids.

And then, more recently, some spammers hacked into the site and caused all sorts of havock. So there will be a bit more security here from now on, and you won’t be able to add comments to posts after a certain amount of time. I haven’t decided how long yet.

Anyway, enough about problems. I’ll be updating more often in the future – I’m making a big effort to get writing again.

Daylight saving finished last weekend and now we have snow.
